Infinity Classia C336 Speaker System:
L/R Sensitivity: 89.5 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz
This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the C336 L/R (purple trace), PSW310W subwoofer (blue trace), CC225 center channel (green trace), and C255ES surround (red trace). All passive loudspeakers were measured with grilles at a distance of 1 meter with a 2.83-volt input and scaled for display purposes. The C336’s listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures +2.22/–0.72 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. The –3-dB point is at 65 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 55 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 4.56 ohms at 126 Hz and a phase angle of –59.00 degrees at 82 Hz. The CC225’s listening-window response measures +2.07/–2.32 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. An average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal responses measures +2.03/–2.37 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3-dB point is at 89 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 75 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 5.54 ohms at 12.9 kHz and a phase angle of –47.66 degrees at 111 Hz. The C255ES’s three-face averaged response measures +3.70/–9.51 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz in Dipole mode. The –3-dB point is at 403 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 270 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 3.63 ohms at 20 kHz and a phase angle of –75.25 degrees at 100 Hz. Please note that when wall mounted, you should expect the response below a few hundred hertz to increase due to the effect of boundary gain, which is not represented in our quasi-anechoic measurements. The PSW310W’s close-miked response, normalized to the level at 80 Hz, indicates that the lower –3-dB point is at 41 Hz and the –6-dB point is at 35 Hz. The upper –3-dB point is at 196 Hz using the LFE input.—MJP
