Home Theater: <I>Home Theater</I> Magazine Announces RAVE Award Winners

March 4, 2005 — The editors of Home Theater magazine are proud to announce the winners of the 2005 RAVE Awards. The RAVE (Recognition of Audio and Video Excellence) Awards are open to all manufacturers whose components have been reviewed in Home Theater magazine over a 12-month period.

Winners will receive their awards in April at a celebration to be held during Home Entertainment 2005. The Award ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 28 at 6:00 p.m. at the Show venue—the New York Hilton Hotel in New York City.

RAVE Awards are granted solely on the basis of the product's review in Home Theater. The reviewer will have spent, on average, at least one month with the product, and will have based his or her decision on the product's performance, value, ergonomics, and features.

"The Home Theater team feels it is important to recognize excellence in the design and manufacture of superior audio and video componentry. I asked the reviewers to nominate gear that impressed them so much that they would love to have it as part of their own reference systems," said editor Maureen Jenson.
