Corrections, questions and rooms

Corrections are the most useful post we get. If an entry states something that is wrong, imprecise, or true only under conditions we failed to name, we would rather hear it than not.

Corrections

Write to corrections@hometheatermag.com and quote the entry title and the sentence. If a figure is involved, tell us the standard or measurement you are working from; we will either cite it or remove the claim.

Questions about a room

We do not specify equipment and we do not comment on particular models, so we cannot answer “what should I buy”. We can answer questions about principle — why a seat sounds different from the one beside it, what a measurement is telling you, which end of the chain to work on first — and those answers sometimes become entries.
